TEAM Bachmann-Strauss funds two grants

An outstanding group of 43 runners in the November 2009 ING New York City Marathon raised $161,000 to support research for dystonia and Parkinson’s disease.

Jake's Ride for Dystonia Research

A local event in the Short Hills/Millburn area of New Jersey underscored the generosity of friends and neighbors. Jake’s Ride, named in honor of 11-year- old Jake Silverman, who has dystonia, raised almost $500,000 in just two short years for Dystonia research.  Jake's Ride 2010 will take place on Sunday, September 26, 2010.
